We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable visit to WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo. To help protect our guests, team members and animals, we ask all visitors to follow our Code of Conduct during their visit.
Be respectful
Please be considerate of other guests, our team members and our animals.
Threatening, abusive, insulting or disruptive behaviour is not permitted. Please also avoid excessive noise or other behaviour that may disturb our animals or impact the enjoyment of other guests.
Follow safety instructions
Please follow all written and verbal instructions provided by WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo team members, Security or emergency services.
For your safety, please do not climb, sit or stand on railings, barriers or other structures, and do not enter restricted areas.
Children must be supervised
Children aged 15 years and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over and remain under adult supervision while inside the attraction.
Prohibited items
For the safety of everyone at the attraction, please do not bring weapons, fireworks, smoke bombs, glass bottles or any other items that could cause injury.
Throwing objects or using items in a way that could cause injury, disturbance or annoyance is also not permitted.
Guests may be asked to participate in a security check as a condition of entry.
Alcohol, smoking and intoxication
Alcohol must not be brought into or consumed within WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo.
Guests who appear to be under the influence of alcohol may be refused entry or asked to leave.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the attraction.
Appropriate clothing
Shirts and footwear must be worn at all times. Clothing that may reasonably cause offence to other guests may not be permitted.
Valid admission
All guests must have a valid admission ticket and may be asked to present their ticket during their visit.
Assistance animals
Accredited Guide Dogs and Assistance Animals are welcome, subject to applicable requirements and animal welfare considerations. We recommend contacting us before your visit if you will be visiting with an assistance animal so our team can help make the necessary arrangements.
Commercial activity
Guests are not permitted to sell or offer goods or services to other visitors within the attraction unless authorised by WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo.
Helping us look after our animals
Please behave in a way that does not frighten, disturb or endanger our animals. Follow any instructions provided by our team, particularly within animal habitats and walkthrough areas.
What happens if the Code of Conduct is not followed?
Guests who do not follow these requirements or instructions from our team may be refused admission or asked to leave the attraction.
