WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is committed to helping protect Australia’s wildlife and the habitats they depend on.
Our team supports conservation through animal care, breeding programs, research, education and partnerships with conservation organisations. We work to high animal welfare standards and support projects that help protect threatened native species and their habitats.
Current conservation work includes initiatives such as Frogservation, which supports the endangered Littlejohn’s Tree Frog through breeding and research, as well as projects helping protect cassowaries and their rainforest habitat.
